Urology

Urology does not exclusively mean "men's doctor". Urological diseases and complaints also affect women.

Urology deals with diseases of the reproductive organs and the urinary tract. This consists of the kidneys, the ureters, the bladder, the sphincter (pelvic floor) and the urethra.

In men, this also includes diseases of the prostate, the external genitals (penis, testicles, epididymis), as well as hormonal disorders and fertility disorders.
